Non-residential Use

Please discuss your requirements with the Blackmore Administrator for any nonresidential events. Friday evening bookings will be subject to some restrictions. RESIDENTIAL BOOKINGS WILL ALWAYS TAKE PRIORITY.

You may book a campsite, the Barn, the Rambler, the Mills, the barbeque, campfire circle or the cook out area for non-residential unit/district/division meeting’s/events or Leaders’ social events. You may book indoor and outdoor activities for any of the facilities.

SUMMER SEASON WEEKENDS (May to September)

Camp sites may be booked for single day weekend events e.g. Brownie Revels, Guide Fun Days or other outdoor events but you should remember that if there are campers on site they have priority use of the Barn facilities as wet weather shelter during the months of July and August.

Severn Site is not available for booking and you should remember that it is an Activity site and may be in use during your event by other users. You may have exclusive use of the site for an additional charge.

WINTER SEASON WEEKENDS (September to July)

The Barn may be booked for non-residential weekend indoor events but you will be charged the minimum per night charge for 2 nights.

You may book campsites with outdoor toilets for outdoor events during the winter season. There is an additional charge for use of the Barn facilities for all outdoor events.

IT IS LEADER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL FACILITIES ARE LEFT IN THE WAY IN WHICH THEY WOULD WISH TO FIND THEM – THIS INCLUDES THE OUTSIDE TOILET BLOCK.
