County Day – Saturday 17 October 2026, 09:30 – 15:30

Come along and join the county team for a fun filled day to celebrate and inspire you, our amazing volunteers. Whether it’s through formal training sessions, workshops, lunchtime networking or just sharing ideas, you’ll come away with new skills and ideas and a renewed enthusiasm for guiding. This event is open to all volunteers in Worcestershire aged 14 plus.
The day will include a welcome and introduction from our new county commissioner Jo. One of the afternoon sessions on offer, includes an opportunity to chat with Jo, as she would love to hear your thoughts and ideas as she, together with the County team, develop the County strategy for the next five years. Alternatively, just tap her on the shoulder to speak with her, or put a note in her post box on the reception desk.
The day will consist of three sessions delivered by Girlguiding trainers and volunteers.

Please arrive from 9.10 am for registration at the venue, ready to start the day at 9.30 am. Drinks and pastries will be available on arrival.
Items to note for the day: –
- Uniform to be worn (where possible)
- Clothing/shoes need to be suitable for the sessions you have chosen
- You may wish to bring a packed lunch
- Drinks will be provided, please bring a reuseable travel mug
- Worcester Division shop will be in attendance. An opportunity to see (if you haven’t already) the new uniform. Items can be purchased on the day however it is recommended that you pre-order specific items – head to their website following this link Home | Worcester Div Depot or type in www.worcesterdivisiondepot.com and place your order . Payment is not taken at this point. Payment on collection by card cash or cheque will be accepted. If you wish to pay in advance of collection by bank transfer please email to arrange.

- There will be a ‘Market Place’ with lots of goodies, including badges, crafts items, souvenirs and much more!
- Volunteers and girls attending future International trips will be joining us with a variety of fundraising stalls
- Friends of Blackmore and the Trefoil Guild will also be in attendance, an opportunity to find out more about their valuable work.
If you are aged 14-17 years
To attend, please complete the online booking form and then download the Girlguiding Worcestershire County Day 2026 information and consent form for under 18 and ask your parent or carer to complete it. Once complete, please email the form to learning.development@girlguidingworcs.org.uk by 6th October 2026. In the email, please include:
- Your name.
- Your membership number (if you know it).
- The name of your unit.
Please also copy in an adult, such as your parent, carer or unit leader, into the email too. We’ll then provide confirmation of your place on the training.
This is a full day event. However, if you can only attend for one or two sessions you are still most welcome to attend.
