Booking Terms & Conditions 1st Jan 2018 to 31st Dec 2018

(These conditions will apply from 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2018)

  1. Provisional bookings may be made by telephone or e-mail and are held for 14 days awaiting appropriate non-refundable deposit and booking forms. These can be downloaded from our website www.girlguidingworcs.org.uk
  2. A deposit will be required to secure your booking.
  3. Cancellation more than twelve weeks prior to a holiday/camp will result in a lost deposit unless the house/site can be re-let. If the house/site is re-let the deposit will be returned less an administration charge.
  4. Cancellation between twelve and six weeks prior to a holiday/camp will result in a full lost deposit.
  5. Full fees will be payable six weeks before commencement of camp/holiday. If cancellation is made during this six week period for any reason full fees will be lost.
  6. Changes of date will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the above cancellation policy. A further deposit will be payable for a new date.
  7. It is possible to have ‘Exclusive Use’ of the site for large Division camps or similar. Please contact the office on 01905 797 377 to discuss this.
  8. An additional breakages/cleaning deposit of £50 for the Rambler, Barn and Mills Holiday Houses will be required on payment of fees. A £40 deposit will also be required for camp equipment hire/wet weather strike (separate cheque). This will be returned upon receipt of a satisfactory report by the group following your use.

Leaders are advised to take out holiday insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions.

The minimum charge will be waived for Patrol/Senior Section Permit and D of E.

Use of the Barn as a wet weather facility shared with other camp-site users can only be guaranteed from Mid July-August. The Pavilion can be used as a dry shelter from September to Mid July.

EQUIPMENT HIRE

  1. We have equipment for two unit camps of four patrols each. You should discuss your requirements with the Blackmore Administrator.
  2. It is possible to hire individual tents if you do not want a full equipped site. The cost is £10 per tent per weekend, for longer periods contact the Blackmore Administrator at the time of booking.
  3. Tables and benches available at £15 per weekend.
  4. You will be asked for a separate £40 returnable deposit when you pay your final fees. This will be retained if there is broken or damaged equipment at the end of your camp. In the event of a wet strike you can arrange with your warden to leave equipment up and if possible return a few days later to pack it away. If you would like the County Outdoor team to dry and put away your equipment your £40 cheque will be banked to cover their expenses.

NON-RESIDENTIAL EVENTS

PLEASE NOTE; WHEN BUDGETING FOR YOUR EVENT YOU SHOULD INCLUDE SET-UP AND CLEARING UP TIME IN YOUR NUMBER OF HOURS BOOKED

Occasional Bookings:

  1. Use of campsite, cooking circle, camp fire circle and outside toilet facilities: £2.00 per head per 3 hour block. Minimum charge of £20 per 3 hour block.
  2. Use of Barn, Mills : £15 per hour, minimum charge £45. £50 returnable breakage / cleaning deposit.
  3. Use of Rambler : £7.50 per hour, minimum charge of £22.50. £50 returnable breakage / cleaning deposit.
  4. Exclusive use of site for large events: In County, £1,250 per 48 hours. Out of County and other organisations, £1,400 per 48 hours.
  5. Archery. Maximum size of group for archery is 12 participants; cost of a session is £40. Archery is not available October to March.
  6. County Events. A charge of £5 per head per 24 hour period.

Please Note: For reasons of safety and improvement of the Blackmore site, it may occasionally be necessary for essential maintenance work to be undertaken during your stay. You will be notified of this prior to your stay, if possible.
